Explainer Video Department Of Energy
We created this mixed-media animated video from scratch to provide an overview of the Department of Energy’s Plastics Innovation Challenge. This comprehensive program is aimed at accelerating innovations to reduce plastic waste in oceans and landfills, while positioning the U.S. as a global leader in advanced plastics recycling technologies. In this article, we’ll explain the creative process at our explainer video company, detailing how we developed the concept, designed the visuals, and produced the final animation to effectively communicate the program’s objectives in an engaging and accessible way.
In addition, the challenge aims to promote the manufacture of new plastics that are designed to be recyclable, further reducing the amount of plastic waste in the environment. The Plastics Innovation Challenge represents a significant effort to promote sustainability in the plastics industry and address the urgent issue of plastic waste, as we mentionned it in this new Explainer Video.
Here, motion graphics mixed media animation, combined with an explainer video format, crosses photo imagery with graphic design elements to create more impactful visuals. This approach heightened emotional engagement and affirmed the great importance of DOE’s work.
This governmental content is a great example of good explainer video production. It’s a short, engaging video that simplifies complex ideas, products, or services using clear visuals and concise messaging. Often incorporating motion graphics and graphic design, these videos help businesses communicate key information in an easily digestible format, making them highly effective tools for marketing, training, or product demonstrations.
